Onegin Rooms Mini-Hotel

Our stay at Onegin Rooms was very pleasant. The location is absolutely central - it is bang on Freedom Square. Our room was the one at the top floor with the Skylight (which was covered to minimise glare) and there was zero noise from the street. There are also rooms with a view that open up to the street for those who would prefer an outside view. The room we stayed in was very modern with all the amenities provided as mentioned on the website. The room size was very decent and comfortable despite the fact that it was one of the smaller rooms. Water bottles were provided free of charge every day as was tea (we had to ask on 2 days as the cups hadn't been cleaned but the needful was done quickly, so we considered this to be only a minor irritant). The staff at the reception do speak english but in varying degrees, some much better than others (some were fluent and others nominal). So you could have varying rates of success depending on who you are dealing with at the time! They were very courteous and helpful and helped us out with bookings for the Sulphur Baths and also the taxi ride back to the airport. The rooms are accessible through a separate entrance 2 doors from the reception room, separated by a currency exchange. The restaurant at which Breakfast was made available is also accessible through a separate entrance. Breakfast is available using coupons provided by Onegin Rooms for use at the Degusto Restaurant in the same building and covers you for upto GEL10 (10 Lari). You can essentially use the coupon to pick up anything you'd like from the restaurant. If you exceed, you pay the difference. The restaurant opens at 8.30am during the summer on weekdays and at 10am on weekends. Onegin rooms also arrange tours with a 10% discount for guests. Their Hop-on-hop-off tour is a combination of bus and walking tour with a guide. A must take.
