85 reviewsThe valley is magical, one of the most beautifull in the region. Hotel has got spectacular location with Ushba mountain behind and others around. So it is perfect location for different hikes or just romantic relaxation. And the road in the valley is in a good condition. Inviting buildings with several different rooms and balconies. My room was spacious, with nice wooden touch so it reminded me on visiting the Alpinian chalets. It was warm enough even night temperatures were below zero. Bed was very comfortble, shower had super hot water - much appretiate in the cold evening. The dining room was inviting as well, with special touch - menu in a shape of Svan stone tower, stone made tower on the wall, guide books of Svaneti and Caucas for sale - the author Richard Baerug is one of the owners of hotel. Food was fabulous, tasty home made. They even had freshly made jam of localy known guavas! Personell was very tentive, thoughtfull and helpfull. They alčso organize hikings for different levels and tastes.
