Hotel Queen

I stayed at Hotel Queen with group of friends in September 2017 and came back during my trip to Georgia in May 2018. It was the first place we stayed during our first visit to Georgia with group of friends and I was unable to resist to visit it again. Even after my second trip to Georgia Hotel Queen remains for me the most memorable place in Georgia. The rooms are nice and spacious with all amenities you need, delicious breakfast. The location is perfect – just few steps from Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and the center of Mtskheta town. The view from the balcony is the best in town I am sure! But the main thing what makes this place the most beautiful and unforgettable is the owner of the place David. His hospitality is unlimited, his knowledge of history and interesting facts about Georgia and his home town Mtskheta is surprising and inspires you to learn even more about this beautiful country and it’s people. And in addition to that Dato’s wonderful sense of humor makes you feel like you met a good friend whom you did not see for a long time. Oh, I must mention that he makes the best shashlyk I have ever tried and also he makes very good wine. I would recommend hotel Queen to all travelers who wish not only to see Georgia, but also to know Georgian people better, to experience their hospitality, their warmth and heartiness. I will definitely come back again!
