827 reviewsI will remember Havaiki as the place where I had the best dinner in French Polynesia. I’m on a plant based diet to try and limit use of animal products. It’s quite difficult to maintain while traveling. Havaiki was happy to accommodate my preferences and the dinners were just yum! The staff and the owner/manager are friendly and welcoming, so are many of the repeat customers. The resident dog, Zoe, might try to steal a fry but she’s super cute. The beach is spectacular! You’d often see nurse sharks looking for some snacks in the shallows. Kayaks and bikes are provided free of charge. The bungalow was clean and nice. Just a tiny bit dark, so if I misplaced something (which happens way too often) it took a while to locate them. :-D Recommend booking in advance as they’re usually fully booked. They also have an old pearl farm and help with organising excursions and/or diving.
