Chambres d'hôtes Au presbytère

We stayed at Anne's place for one night during a bicycle trip from Basel, Switzerland to Zwolle, the Netherlands. We arrived at seven pm, after a long day's ride. Anne offered to make us "a little dinner", which turned out to be a feast of different breads, cheeses, pasta, fresh vegetables, red & white wine, and two desserts. She told us that breakfast usually is served at eight, but because we wanted an early start, she had it ready at seven. I believe we counted eight different kinds of breads, including some freshly baked by her that morning, home made muffins, again just out of the oven, a variety of home made jams, twelve different cheeses, and a wide variety of other breakfast foods. The rooms were simple and clean, the shared bathroom was decent. For those who expect luxury, this might not be the place for you, for us, this was the most hospitable place we stayed at during the eight day trip. Anne was totally committed to making our stay as pleasurable as possible.
