16 reviewsWe had booked to go to Macerata to see the opera. Verona was cancelled and all our flights to Italy were cancelled. We decided to drive from Algarve to Italy and Domaine De Bailheron was going to be one of our enroute stops. So we booked the night's stay. Literally 2 minutes after making the booking we received a call to advise that 2 out of 3 operas were cancelled. We immediately sent an email to the owner asking if we could cancel our booking as no point in a 5,000km round trip for one opera. The owner kindly agreed to cancel our booking when she did not have to. We booked this property based on the feedback on how good a host the owner was,. All we can say is that while we have never met Yolande we can certainly say she is very ethical. If we are not able to fly to Macerata next year we will definitely stay here if we have to drive.
