We were looking for a light meal on a very hot evening. Strolling across the Champ de Foire we decided on the Relais de Morvan. There was a good choice of food but we decided on the large salads, a plateful of all liknds of salad food not just lettuce! There were various types available. We made different choices, one was with a lots of smoked salmon and prawns (salade de la mer) and the other with tuna, the traditional ' salade niçoise' . There were 14 Euros each. We had a Kir beforehand whilst we were waiting but the service was swift. I had not finished mine before the food arrived. The wines were expensive. We were tempted by the Fillon wine from St Bris, but decided on the local beautifully chilled white Vézelay wine. The bottle cost 24.50. It was delicious. We decaf coffee afterwards. There was no hurry to leave and we enjoyed a lovely couple of hours on the terrace there. The bill come to 63.70. I will definitely go there again when I am in Vézelay.
