Chez Martine & Philippe is simply unique. The owners, Martine & Philippe, welcome you whenever you set entrance in the stunningly hotel (or is it a bed & breakfast?). The warm reception is a standard. At the introduction you get a tour through the complete hotel. Every room is amazingly interiored! The hotel interior combines the old history of the neo-classical mensa with modern design classics. And as clean as an operation room. Big bathroom and a kitchen where you have everything you need to cook wathever you want. I stayed one whole week and had the pleasure to have the upper floor for myself; it feels more like your own place rather then a big hotel. its very personal and tastefull. The big stairway halls aref illed with book closets, little resting chairs with tables, brochures about the environmental highlights; one can go on discovery within the hotel itself. When arriving in the little old village, it was fully covered in snow; the view from my room was amazing. A fairytale like view of the valley. Every morning I had breakfast served and also here; highly recommendable! Martine's home made cake is my personal favorite! And when you are a audiophile- or simply a music lover; ask Phillipe for a demonstration of his self build high end sound system (literally with 2 horn speakers); you will be blown away. Watch out, after a listening session you will come home disappointed when you listen your own stereo set. Simply a 5/5 rating! Highly recommendable
