If you ever have the chance to visit this hidden little corner of France, 1 hour outside of Lyon, I recommend it. Gorgeous fortresses, castles and pieces of history abound. Michael is a wonderful host and knows about the region being a local. The rooms and guest areas are decorated with taste. The bed, pillows and sheets are VERY comfortable (such a wonderful surprise). Michael pays attention to detail, having a hair dryer available in the room (merci!) and a handcrafted soap to take home. The breakfast is first rate with homemade jam and cake. Great coffee too.
