Just returned from a fantastic week. Having driven past the Flambeau for 12 years, we decided to finally book it as our base for a week, and now wonder why we didn't do it sooner!! The location is one of the best we've had, with a button and 4 man chair literally in the garden. Out apartment was spotless on arrival, and check in was incredibly smooth. Aurore was fantastic both prior to check in with some email queries, during check-in and on departure. Our own ski locker and boot warmers were fantastic, and in reality left us less than a 20m walk to the piste front, ESF meeting point and lifts. All of the facilities were clean and well maintained. The pool and Spa area was great, it can get quite busy just after the lifts close, but that's to be expected. There was some form filling to do, with a comprehensive inventory and detail of who was staying for the local taxes, but we were able to do that within the first day once we were settled and had picked up our rental gear and lift passes. We'll certainly be booking again for next year!
