I’ve skiied close to near 30 years and have seen prices rise and quality decrease. After having an utterly awful experience in a neighbouring hotel in Tignes I was reluctant to return this year if it wasn’t for a friend who said they’d found a great hotel for a reasonable price. Upon arrival we were presented with our own dedicated parking spot and large chalet apartment. It was clean and had everything we needed. Unfortunately after two days I had to find an emergency train home back to the UK which was a scary experience when looking at routes and prices. On the morning of departure my friends car battery was dead and I was left for stranded with a huge bill on trains and travel. If it wasn’t for CGH’s manager Steven I would have lost it all and not been able to return. He gave me a lift to Bourg St Maurice just in time for my train to leave and I can’t thank him enough. The staff went above their station to help and I will never forget this. Thank you Steven and the crew at CGH!
