Perfect little hotel for a 24 hours in Dijon. Just a stone's throw from the train station, and then it's a short, easy walk into the historic center with its tons of restaurants and shopping. The couple running the hotel were very kind and let us leave our bags a few hours after checkout, locked up. The room was perfectly clean, nice bathroom with hot water. Decor somewhat worn and frayed, but everything maintained well. Affordable.

Excellent hotel stone's throw from train station

This budget hotel, 3 minutes from the train station, is named after the dark romantic writer of the XIX century, the author of "Sepulchral notes". The name probably corresponds to this old-style hotel. It seemed to me that I had fallen, if not in the time of Chateaubriand, then in the time of de Gaulle and Giscard d'Estaing for sure. But it's not a big deal. The shower cabin is located directly in the room and from it you can view the avenue Marshal Foch. I lived on the 3rd floor, and if the same thing is on the 1st floor, then this is a room for exhibitionists. Fun for the amateur... Seriously, the shower stall leads to humidity in the room and an unavoidable smell of mustiness. Otherwise, it's fine. TV. The Wi-Fi is working. The view from the window is good.

Budget hotel 3 minutes from the train station.

We arrived late by train very tired after flying from Seoul, and just wanted a bed for the night near the station, allowing us the next day to find nicer digs for a few days in Dijon.
We travel light so the three flights of stairs to our room was no problem, the musty smell of the place was solved by opening all the windows and we could ignore the grotty state of the bathroom as at least it has good hot water in the shower over bath.
The shower gel was very good, the bed comfy and clean so we slept well, once the trains stopped around midnight and we rigged up a system to stop the door and windows from banging.
We had a triple room for just 2 so a little more room, there was a table and chairs, very good lighting from the single room light and bedlamp.
We didnr bother with wifi or breakfast.
The cost was just under €50 and had a good breakfast at the bakery next door.
All in all we got what we paid for.

Picked for two reasons, proximity to the station and its' name that sounds better than it actually is. The outside is better than in, and whether the breakfast is worthwhile or not I couldn't tell you!

When I was searching for hotel in Dijon, I made sure the parking filter was on since I would be driving. When I arrived, I discovered there was no parking, disappointing! Reception guy was a little weird and pushed my hand when I was paying. I would not go back... 

Disappointed 

A disgusting smoke ridden hell hole. Omposxible to get to by car even with Sat Nav and tge rudest manager ever. 
My wife  had an asthma attack just getting to reception.
Totally misrepresented in pics and online.

Putrid stinking hole

Unkempt hotel in grotty part of Dijon, room very basic, noisy at night and with some unwanted visitors of the creepy crawly variety! Breakfast ok, staff not particularly helpful and didn't respond at all to the bug complaint... Avoid this place!
