Case Vanille

We just spent a week at Case Vanille as a family of 3. The house is on 2 floors on a hill. We were on the bottom level where we had 2 very beautiful rooms connected by a little corridor giving access to a large shower room and including a large sliding doors wardrobe. Both bedrooms open onto a fantastic wide colonial style covered patio overlooking the pretty garden and offering the most amazing view going from the mountains on your left and the sea on your right. There is access via a few steps to a lovely swimming pool and further garden in a sunny spot on the top level of the house, There is a further double bedroom opening onto the large colonial patio but it was not used during our stay. An excellent breakfast is served every morning on the patio by our host, including exquisite homemade marmelades, fresh fruit and delicious local products. Everything was spot clean, the beds really comfortable and the icing on the cake is the friendliness of both Francesca and Richard, who are so knowledgeable about their beautiful island and gave us invaluable advice about what to do and see depending on the sometimes capricious April weather. We had a fantastic holiday and can’t wait to go back!
