Hotel Sables D'or

What you want from most places is for them to exceed expectations. This markets itself as a two star. It puts many three stars to shame. Jean Marc and his staff are super helpful. The rooms are perfectly clean and functional. The aircon is a very welcome addition. The Lavazza machine in the rooms provided excellent coffee. The rooms are very clean, shower is powerful. Breakfast is great value at €8 pp. if you want a beach location, the Corniche is perfect as it’s only a five minute stroll. The town centre is about 30 mins walk or the bus stop opposite if you don’t fancy the walk. The hotel doesn’t serve lunch or dinner but there are two very good restaurants almost next door - Petit Bistro and the Mistral. Some of the rooms have a little terrace so if you’re a bit knackered after a days walking you can grab a takeaway pizza and enjoy it there with a glass of wine. Thanks guys, we will be back.
