39 reviewsLocated in a hamlet surrounded by walking countryside, and some skiing in winter, Le Relais de la Forge offers comfortable accommodation with reasonable sized rooms and modern bathrooms, shower, basin, w.c. The rooms are equipped with tv and modern furnishings. The ground floor restaurant is rustically furnished and offers very good traditional food, including a delicious Boeuf Bourguignon. Service is good and the English speaking Patron is always able to offer on advice either on the menu or local walks and activities. The hotel has an outdoor pool but when we were there in May was not open yet, perhaps a bit early in the season for this Alpine area. We found Le Relais de la Relais to be very good value. For motor sport enthusiasts, the Monte Carlo rally usually passes close by most Januarys and Le Patron has a fine collection of rally competitor car plates decorating the reception area. In the Hamlet there is a bar and tourist info.
