Great place, quit, quaint, beautiful , friendly staff, great location

This is my first visit to this Hotel which is part of the Brit group it's situated just outside the town and has its own bar and restaurant across the road is a supermarket & a McDonald's the rooms are clean & tidy the food is done by buffet style starter, mains & dessert choose either 1, 2 or all 3  

Fairly ordinary hotel with no frills. I didn’t pay extra for breakfast though it’s available. Good parking and very handy for the Cora supermarché across the road next to a McDonalds.

Not great but perfectly adequate for a one night stopover

I chose this hotel for business stay as had no other options. The town is very small and there is not much around the hotel, there is a big supermarket next to it and for me it was an advantage. However I did not see any restaurants nearby apart from McDonalds. I ate at the hotel, breakfast was ok although very limited choice, mainly baguettes and croissants with jam etc, lunch and dinner were very good home made with good choices. The staff were very friendly and helped me a lot with my requests, I give them 5 stars. The hotel itself is very dated and needs modernisation. My room was very small, no carpet on the floor, the bed and the pillows were too hard and extremely uncomfortable. The room was not very clean as every time I walked on the floor in my socks I got dirt and dust fluff on them. i would advise bringing your own slippers to walk in the room. The bathroom was very small and very basic, not very clean. But the shower pressure was good which in some hotels can be an issue. The WiWi connection was good. I would stay at this hotel if I had to but no more than 2 nights as the room is really uncomfortable. I would advise management to invest in some good beds at least.

Great staff but hotel you get what you pay for

We were driving from italy to england and this was the place we ended up after a days drive. At least there was somewhere to stay, rooms very basic but it's reflected in the price and there was no family room but the connecting doors between two rooms was a good idea. We all slept well, peaceful location. Breakfast buffet good and price of €7 not bad for adults, children free. Staff seemed friendly.  Would only stay again if driving to England from Italy and could not make it to verdun.

I just checked in. First my key didn't work so I had to get another. Once inside my room I discovered the bed had not been made nor had the room been cleaned since the last guest. The room smells like an open sewer. No exaggeration.  The stairs to the room are perpetually wet and smells like a hospital. The WiFi is spotty at best and is not secured with a password so I can't conduct any business from my (disgusting) room.
