Had dinner here when in Paris recently 
A small restaurant but homely and warm.
The food was excellent and cooked to order the pricing was reasonable 
The servers were top class but were busy and not time to engage with.
Would go back again when in Paris

A very nice B&B, less than 10 minutes walk from the beautiful centre medieval of Sarlat la Caneda. Free parking. The room and bathroom (Blue Room) are decorated with care and very clean. Great attention to detail and a perfectly organized room: kettle and everything you need for tea and coffee in the room, a choice of latex or feather pillows, soaps, hair dryers, towels and pads to remove make-up in the bathroom. Comfortable shower. Breakfast is fantastic: biscuits, cakes and homemade jams in large quantities. A fantastic place run by a couple of very nice Italians. Highly recommended! We stayed 4 nights at Le Casse-Noix in November and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The atmosphere in this small guesthouse is extremely friendly and relaxed and Alessandra goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and comfortable and help with your visits. Breakfast is amazing and she will surprise you every day with the most delicious local products and homemade cakes with an Italian twist. Our spacious, comfortable and stylish room opened on the patio and beautiful garden. The bathroom was huge and everything was spotlessly clean. We loved the place and would stay there again anytime. Sarlat is a great base to explore the Vezere and Dordogne valleys and Le CasseNoix is the perfect place to stay.

The hostess is very helpful and friendly, speaks perfect English, she makes all her own bread cakes biscuits and preserves..breakfast was delicious. There is a big free public car park beside the accomodation, it is a quiet location 10 mins walk from the old quarter, theold quarter is narrow and busy. The hosts provide a communal fridge for use and we had tea and coffee making facility in the room, shower very good. Hostess gave us good recommendations for eating.

Lovely room, beautifully furnished in French country style, doors to patio, large bathroom with all facilities, even a small dressing room. Easy walking distance to Centre Ville. The breakfasts were amazing: virtually everything homemade, most off the property. We had a variety of breads, wonderful cakes, crepes, beignets,madelaines, brioche, croissants, juices, choice of jams, yoghurt, fruit and of course walnuts. Alessandra was a charming and friendly host. Superb!

Welcoming, comfortable house in an ideal location for exploring Sarlat and the Dordogne. Spacious and perfectly clean rooms on the upper floor. We particularly appreciated the double choice of pillows (latex and  feathers) and the extra comfy mattresses. Excellent home-baked bread and cakes every morning, with fruit, nuts and jam from their garden. Lucca and Alessandra were very helpful with local knowledge, places to go and see etc. We will come back to explore more of this amazing town and region.

Excellent accommodation in the garden room, lovely home baked continental breakfast and a friendly welcome. Beautiful garden, perfect to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner. Good free parking very close.
