81 reviewsThis is a real gem. We were blown away by this small hotel in the heart of the Camargue. The hospitality and welcome is unsurpassed. Greg and Amelie have put their souls in this place and you feel as though you are staying with friends. We loved every second of our 3 night stay. The room was large and modern with all comforts supplied, including gorgeous shower gel and a small fridge with some water and a Coca-Cola. The setting is dreamy with the wildlife of the Camargue right in front of you. Watch the coypu coming up to take bread from Greg and the cheeky ducks who might try and sneak in to the warm, clean swimming pool. White horses, hoopoes, bats, a fly past of flamingos at many times. And not to forget the delicious dinners served up from the family kitchen. On the day they did not cook, Greg made a booking in town for us and it was an easy walk there and back. You need strong anti-mosquito repellent in the evenings. We loved sitting over meals and talking to the other guests with Greg on his high stool chipping in. As we say in Northern Ireland, it was great craic ! Final bills need settling in cash or bank transfer which is not a problem but be aware. We would love to come back to stay with Greg and Amelie again.
