Had a lovely week on this campsite in late April. Facilities are great (showers are amazing!!). Hot water for your dishes, common room + fridge etc. 

When we arrived, there was no one to welcome us. But from the sign it was clear that you can choose your own spot, wherever you like. And 'check in-' later on.
Super laidback! Just as we like.

3-5 minute drive to climbing sector. 
Would recommend this place to climbers and non-climbers. 

My partner and I camped here during a week-long trip to Orpierre. This campsite is large, flat, and quiet except for the constant sound of bells across the valley (which we grew accustomed to). It's green and lush and has good vibes. The owners live on the property and are friendly and accommodating. The campsite has good facilities (not exceptional, but good enough especially for dirtbag climbers like us). The simplicity of the place comes of as honest, which we liked.

From the road the sign says camping and snack but this greatly understates what they have. The snack has a large selection of home made pizzas cooked in front of you for just €10 which are sized to feed 2 adults or 3-4 children, as well as a snack range of food and a good offering of drinks from the traditional to the exotic. If you need or want rocket fuel choose the ti-punch, but the bottle of local wine at just €5.50 is very good too.
We were there with our 3 young children plus one of their friends who were able to run around and play in the park, on the protected indoor climbing wall and with a range of toys, meaning we ate peacefully outdoors with views across the valley and surrounding mountains
There is a large covered and wind protected restaurant and bar in a charming old stone barn structure that also offers a range of local artisan products including jewellery, beers, jams, honey, books and maps.
If you want haute cuisine, tableclothes and valet parking this is not for you.
But if you want to eat well, inexpensively in a fun and cool atmosphere it is a hidden gem.
In season on Monday nights they have music events, we've not yet been but will and by reputation it is generally mobbed so its best to go early.

The amenities are great (clean toilets, very good showers, common room, kitchen, fridge, bar, local produce, fresh baguettes in the morning etc.). The location is perfect especially if climbing in Orpierre.
Very nice hosts, I would recommend this camp for everybody travelling around southern French apls. :)

Close to orpierre town and climbing area.

Very clean, great wine and good facilities. A nice common room with cooking fascikities and even a boulder cave if you have the energy. 

I recommend this campsite when in orpierre
