We stayed at the mill for two days and found peace, hospitality and friendliness! The small dining rooms are spacious and the two rooms are clean and comfortable. We were very well advised to visit the area and really enjoyed this beautiful place!

Nice site and excellent reception

Perfect guest room, with all the amenities, and a great view of the lot! The lovely owners, they make themselves fully available on request, canoeing, pedaling, fishing, not counting the pool.

Ideal for cutting yourself off from the world and everyday worries

We just spent 10 days there with our baby. Everything was perfect: the spacious and comfortable room, the very large and furnished house that allowed us to flourish with our little one-year-old wolf.

Ten days of calm

Marie-Claude and her husband Alain are super welcoming and friendly, it's Marie-Claude who runs her guest rooms, our perfect river-side room with a small living room with a TV at our own disposal, nice lunch, nothing lacking.Quality-price is probably one of the best in the area.The two days we spent, allowed us to recharge ourselves with the calm of this mill.The ideal for a weekend in love.

A charming accommodation in an old flour mill on the banks of the river Lot.The room where breakfast is taken still retains two old bakeries of the business that existed here in the 1950s.The establishment has two very comfortable rooms with great views.La señora only speaks French, but she lives to help the traveler.A very recommended place.

The hospitality, the comfort of the rooms and beds, the facilities (canoe, pedal, equipped kitchen, outdoor swimming pool, basic products), the generous breakfast, the advice and good mood of Marie Claude and Adelin, the possibility of bathing at the foot of this historic mill make this guest house an excellent place to stay in peace.

A Warm Place of Peace by Lot's River

This accommodation offered a perfect start to our touring holiday  in the region of the Lot. Though situated a short drive outside the village this old mill provided a perfect setting. We had a good sized room overlooking the river and the original mill and the bed was extremely comfortable.
There was a terrace alongside the river with facilities for fishing and on a higher level a swimming pool. Parking was on site close to the entrance accessed up a short flight of steps.
The French hosts were friendly and welcoming and provided us with a good breakfast of yoghurts, bread, croissants, meats and cheeses
Our hostess recommended  a quirky chateau in the village for our evening meal. This proved to be a memorable experience not to be missed.
The nearby village of Penne across the river was everything one expects a French village to be.
We would certainly recommend this place.

Perfect setting overlooking River Lot

This gite, being on the fish-teaming river Lot was marked as good for fishing.  It is also a great gite for a family.  The pool is shared but was as good as ours during our stay; there were a few changes of guests at the chambres d'hotes during our stay but never a number to impact on the pool.
During our stay the temperature peaked around 35 degrees C.  We were thankful of the aircon in the two bedrooms upstairs.  It is a shame that a very large south-facing window downstairs does not have shutters and the indoor temperature rarely dropped below 25C.  However, we did seem to stay during a very hot week.

The owners are lovely and very helpful.  We were free to borrow boats and pedalos including life jackets for us and the children.  There's swings and a trampoline for the children and lots of out door space.

We had a lovely holiday with plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.
