Great holiday  for the 9th time at La Plage 'd Argens, can recommend this  site  for a  great safe holiday.. staff  great and  helpful, site  clean and safe..will defo be  going  back next  year..( can't wait!)

a great family holiday our 7th visit here so that says  it  all, I recommend to all, good friendly multi lingual staff, good facilities, great atmosphere to make a relaxing stay, we will be returning soon

nice static vans with decking and outside dining, next to the estuary and lovely beach.
facilities are 5 star and the place feels like 5 star. the other guests were very respectful and it definately attracts a better class of camper!
we were worried as this is our first camping style trip but were pleasantly surprised with how nice the French are and how civilised the whole experience was.
we loved it and will be doing it again next year.

We had a lovely 2 weeks in La Plage d’Argens, St Aygulf. It was very hot but we were glad of the Palm tree giving shade to our mobile home. It was a bit of a trek to the beach as we were told not to go through the Naturist beach. But it was well worth it to enjoy swimming in the Mediterranean. The campsite itself had a marvellous pool open from 9am to 8pm. Bar and restaurant were fabulous. Shop was suffice and there were supermarkets close by anyway. The big downside was the Wi-Fi. We paid for it but the signal was so poor at times that we had to go to reception to get it. Communication (in the sense that they didn’t speak English very well) wasn’t great in reception so we didn’t feel we could check if this was the norm and that maybe our mobile home was too far away to get a decent signal. 
Other than that we had a wonderful time and would definitely go back! 
Thank you Canvas Holidays for arranging it all. We definitely missed a Canvas Rep on-site.

Nice camping with clean accomodations. The restaurant at the pool is great! Mario is an amazing host! We really enjoyed the stay because of this friendly guy at the bar! Tip: order the giraffe 😉. Even with COVID-19 we really felt safe at the camping

Just returned home from this campsite and have to say lovely camp we were made to feel welcome by all staff who were very helpful. We stayed in tent and it was well equipped maybe needed a kettle? but otherwise no problems . Camp situated between Frejus & St Aygulf which are within walking distance if you like walking, bus stop just outside camp if not. Nice beach a little walk from site all round good package .

We had a great week at La Plage D'argens. The entertainment team were brilliant with lots going on throughout the day to keep us entertained. My 4 year old daughter loved the kids club. The pool area is very stylish and my daughter loved the slides. We only ate in the restaurant once but the food was of a very high standard. Definately thinking of going back!

From start to finish our stay at this campsite was excellent. Our two children aged 6 and 9 loved it too ! A very well maintained campsite - very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar area are excellent too - again very friendly staff. A well stocked shop on site too . Our mobile home was beautiful - air con was very important. The mobile home was so comfortable and had all necessary equipment. The beaches surrounding the campsite are beautiful. We really hope to return to this wonderful campsite next summer .

This campsite is mainly chalets with few tents. We stayed in a chalet that was spacious, clean and air conditioned. The hot tub was cool enough to enjoy in the early evening but perhaps too cool for after sunset.

 Easy to hire canoes/paddle boards and travel up stream or down to the beach. About 2.5 hours kayak upstream you come to a weir that's safe enough to kayak down (and great fun) and close to a riverside cafe.

There's a dive school that does snorkelling/dive trips from within the campsite.

In August, it's a hot walk to the beach - feels too long with young children. The beach is sandy, life guarded and the water feels safe. There's a cafe with a surf simulator that's fun for youngsters- the beach is long so it's easy to find space. There's a section in the kite surf area that's OK for bathing if you can't face the walk along to the family beach. If you want clear waters for snorkelling, it's worth driving along to the rocky calenques.

The restaurant serves decent pizza and the pool is pleasant. 

Covid: Masks are currently required only inside the communal buildings. Although the site mentioned they would manage the pool at busy times - it did feel overcrowded sometimes and hard to socially distance (and you are required to use a metal handle to open the gate - which I never saw being cleaned - so worth bringing your own hand sanitiser.) The best time to visit the pool is lunchtime when it's definitely considerably quieter - easy to find a shady spot and space away from others.

Entertainment - there's a kids club which we didn't use (I think an hour in the morning and in the afternoon) - in the evening they have relatively low key entertainment (e.g. a petanque competition or a brief song performance) - if you want to avoid these it's easy enough. There's a dance in the pool at midday on weekdays which children enjoyed.

It's near to aqualand and luna park - you can occasionally hear noise from there but it's not too loud. Avoid these if you are worried about covid as they are as packed as ever and social distancing is zero. 

The wifi does not work at all and there's no roaming data connection - good for a completely internet free stay but difficult if you want to google the local area. You can get limited wifi up at the pool area on occasion.

On the whole a fantastic place, staff are really helpful and friendly, restaurant is excellent.
The beaches are clean and just a nice walk away..... watch you don’t end up on the naturist beach if you are easily shocked! 
Site is well located and easy to find. Don’t go to Carrefore as the Intermarche is much closer and way cheaper, better stocked as well. 
We had a new unit and the aircon was a blessing, definitely advise booking one with this. The unit was well equipped and really clean on arrival! 
The site itself has the potential to be absolutely beautiful however it would benefit from losing a few of the many trees to let more sun light through after all this is why you go to the Cote D’Azur, and although it’s near the end of the season visitors should still see the site looking nice not over grown and dishevelled as we found it, however, this does not take anything away from what a lovely place it is, just a general observation.
The pool is really big for a site of its size with jacuzzi pools, toddler pool and slides separate to main pool which was great.
On a side note, due to the proximity to the river and the amount of trees I strongly advise mosquito repellent as we got eaten alive!
All in all a great week away and we will be returning next year with the family and granddaughter so looking forward to another relaxing holiday 😊
