Le Bois Saint Martin

Le Bois Saint Martin is on a lovely secluded site surrounded by woodland yet conveniently close to major stores and the towns of Saint Martin and La Flotte. Our cottage (No 15) had a dining/living area with small open plan kitchen, a double bedroom and wet room, and additional single beds in the loft space. The enclosed private terrace had a table and chairs for outdoor eating and was nicely screened by shrubs and small trees. All was easily maintainable and very comfortable. There was access to an inviting pool, bar and games room and a large modern barbecue with a seating area was available for guests' use in the grassy enclosure. Parking was plentiful and totally secure. Visiting in September meant that it was also very peaceful. What made our stay so memorable though was the help, support and kindness we received from the owner and staff when, on the point of leaving, problems with our car forced us to wait all day for assistance. Their level of service was over and above what we might have expected, especially in finding a solution that prevented a trauma turning into a catastrophe. Thank you especially Monique!
