This was our first trip to the Dordogne. Florence and Denis were very warm and welcoming. The guesthouse is easy to find, and being only 10 minutes drive from Bergerac airport and the city itself, it is in an ideal location; close enough that everything is accessible, but perched on a hillside far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing, with super views across the vineyards of Montbazillac. The accommodation was spacious, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated and equipped. The pool is ideal for a relaxing dip in the sunshine. Breakfast was ok, fresh bread / croissants with a fair selection of jams or honey. Cereal was available and fresh tea and coffee. I would certainly recommend a stay at La Romantique
