Le Pressoir

We stayed at Le Pressoir for a week and were made most welcome. The hosts could not do enough for us and are slowly upgrading their lovely hotel. The rooms are somewhat basic but had everything we needed. We had very hot weather and the room had no air conditioning - but we were given fans and made as comfortable as possible. Our ground floor room was easily accessible for my mobility impaired husband. He could get to the room without using any steps and our bathroom had a walk in shower. The views from the beautiful pool are stunning, and we also saw some fantastic sunsets over the hills. The pool has been fenced in with a see through fence so that it is safe for children in the garden but it doesn't hinder the views. We had two dinners at the hotel (which need to be booked in advance), these were both delicious and plentiful. Again the host was only too happy to help with our rather limited dietary requirements. There is a supermarket a couple of minutes walk away which was useful as the hotel does not serve lunches. There are also self serve petrol pumps which are useful if you are exploring the area.
