EXCEPTIONAL tasting menu. Set in the middle of vineyards, this restaurant is both white tablecloth AND humble. The chef himself is apparent in between courses, completely unassuming. During courses he's in the kitchen creating the BEST, most tender chicken dish I've ever had (and my husband and I have been to a handful of 3 star restaurants) - walnut sauce, parmesan crust, side of spiced carrots, just WOW. We had the weekday tasting menu - plenty of food and a PHENOMENAL value. If you're anywhere near here (we were in Uzes for the market day on Wednesday then Pont du Gard, so this was a 30 min or so drive for us). I still dream of that chicken...and I don't even have any special feelings towards chicken lol.
