I was very impressed with Camping Isertan. Quiet and scenic, it is in the valley surrounded by mountains on all sides, and with a great view over the town. As they are a hotel and campsite combined, they have excellent facilities, including clean and modern toilets and showers, and a beautiful indoor swimming pool. The staff were very relaxed, friendly and well organised. They were happy to charge our mobile phones behind the reception desk whenever we needed. The camp site is only a 5 minute walk from the town, which has the cable car than goes up the mountain for hiking/skiing. There's a convenience store right next to it, and there are lovely hikes in every direction, some starting in the campsite itself. To top it all, the price was extremely reasonable - from 26 to 31 August only €16/night for a hiking tent and two people + car. Highly recommended.
