This was our second visit here, the first having been six years ago. The chateau is lovely but still requires a lot of work to restore it fully to its previous grandeur. Many original period fixtures and fittings mixed in with some rather incongruous modern items. Very spacious bedroom and bathroom, extremely quiet and peaceful. Very good breakfast served in one of main reception rooms - you can pre-order what you would like. Pleasant staff. Our only complaint was the coffee - in such a place it should be freshly made and served to you at the table (this was the case on our last visit). Instead we had only a small self-service machine using pods which you had to insert yourself - hardly the "chateau" experience!
