16 people arrived to stay and booking confirmation had not gone through from the web booking site. The staff accomodated all our needs including the meal that is included. They were able to source good food for that evening and it wax about 3 pm. Rooms were good but small. Adequate bathrooms

When our big group tried to check in to this charming chalet in an ancient French Alpine village they had misplaced our booking of 8 rooms. It had been taken by a staff member during the managers vacation. They handled it beautifully, they rallied staff and rooms, snacks and coffees and sorted it straight away. We loved their can-do attitude and wonderful hospitality. The rooms were simple and clean, dinner in house that night was delicious and rustic. Real mountain hospitality in a breathtakingly beautiful village.

I was a little worried that this place would be too far from the slopes for our stay, but was lured by the free childcare advertised during the school holiday period.  In fact, it was perfect - in the lower village of Peisey, a large chalet hotel, old, but kept very clean was full of kids.  All French speaking, which suited us as we live in. Geneva, but also found for my sisters 3 kids worked well as they learnt some French, but (as kids do) managed to play and make friends despite the language barriers.  

Enough guests in the hotel spoke a little English that my 70/80 year old parents had some good chats along the way too.  There were 'activities' every night to encourage mixing - snow shoeing, ski guiding, disco etc.

The food was homely and plenty of it.  The local cheese produced at every meal was fantastic.  The stay is full-board, so you could take a picnic of baguettes, ham, cheese and pots of salad:fruits with you, or return to the chalet for lunch.

The kids club was the highlight.  The organisers were amazing with the kids and took them from 9am, made sure they played and had fun, gave them lunch and then got them dressed in ski gear, took them up the mountain in a minibus and delivered them to ski school, picked them up from ski school and brought them home for hot chocolates and snacks until 6pm.  Amazing value!  We were around for some of it and they were relaxed to adapt to grandparents and parents popping in and out or taking kids off as they wanted.

Overall very convivial, fantastic value and wonderful ski resort (the unpisted areas are amazing when snow falls)
