The front desk personnel was nice and always ready to help. They provided me with useful information about the places around the hotel and how to get to other historical places in the city. The room is smaller than what I was expecting, but was a nice room, with a small balcony with a view of the street. The bathroom was clean and nice. For me it's also a great option if you consider the good location (Near Notre Dame, and in the Latin Quartier) Free Wifi, working well enough.

My teenage daughter and I were completely satisfied with our stay. Check-in, check-out, and other interactions with the front desk staff were genial and easy. The room was very clean and well-stocked. The balcony afforded a gorgeous view and table and chairs for us to enjoy snacks and drinks. Housekeeping was excellent. The room fit two people very comfortably. The location to the Latin Quarter, Notre Dame, the Ils, the Metro, and more was exceptional. If noise is a concern, the neighborhood is bustling late into the evening, and delivery trucks come early. This did not bother us in the least. Highly recommended!

very good location, close to historic places and metro & bus station..would be great for anyone traveling for business purposes..the only issue was at night it could be a bit noisy for light sleepers..

Very good hotel, we are positively surprised. We recommend the hotel everyone. The hotel personal is very helpfull and expereinced. The hotel location is perfect. It is close to the most important attractions in Paris.

We had a wonderful stay here!  The hotel is a small picturesque boutique parisian hotel!  The rooms are as described and the beds are very comfortable!  I loved the neighborhood...lots of little restaurants...and some delicious crepes!  The staff was top notch!  But we would like to give a special thanks to the Medy, the guy who works the night shift at the front desk.  He was so helpful to us when we arrived and helped us with our luggage.  Then one night there was a glitch with the TV he was right there to fix it for us!  He gave us a 20% discount for the great Italian restaurant next door and he answered our questions with a smile and a genuine interest with each interaction.  
We will definitely come back next time we pass through Paris!  Merci!

I make frequent trips to Paris and have been staying at this hotel for over 10 years.  The excellent staff have always made me feel extremely welcome, as though part of their family.  They are professional and always ready to help.  Its location is perfect for me.  I take the RER train from CDG.  If you board the train near the center car and depart at Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame, it stops near the sign "Sortie 6" where there is an elevator that takes you directly to street level.  From there it is less than a 2 minute walk to the hotel.  If you want to hear the sounds of Paris, choose a balcony room.  If you are a light sleeper, an inside room is best.  I know I am in Paris when I stay at the Hotel Europe Saint Severin!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for my 27th birthday & as soon as we arrived we were upgraded to a balcony room overlooking the streets. I love the rooms & the hotel overall because of its friendly staff who can't do enough for you & the décor / styling which is very in-keeping with the traditional Parisian culture. 

The hotels location is ideal - very central which gives you close proximity to all the main sightseeing attractions. Youre closest to Notre Dame and easily get to the Eiffel Tower by walking down the Seine River - which is a very scenic, picturesque route. 

Would definitely go back! Thank you so much for a beautiful stay. 

We were there when they had a wine and cheese reception in the lobby. They do something special one Friday night each month. Unexpected delight. The staff was fun and attentive . Hotel was on the pedestrian path area of the Latin Quarter. 

This hotel was absolutely superb! Great location about 5 minutes walk from Notre Dame and right next to a metro station. Hotel was clean, decorated lovely and I could not fault the room. We stayed in one of their smaller rooms but was big enough considering we just needed a comfy room to lay our heads at night. We also were on the half board option, breakfast was a lovely continental breakfast with quite a lot of options and choices and even a gluten free section. Dinner was in their Italian restaurant, they do have a couple of French options, we ate in there one night and the food was lovely. On the Friday evening the hotel put on a free wine and cheese tasting event, which was amazing, was really surprised by the amount of wine and cheese on offer and was a great friendly atmosphere. So much so we made friends with 2 other couples and decided to go out for dinner with them after the event. Lastly but definitely not least, the staff here are fantastic and really make the hotel what it is. They are friendly, funny and can not do enough for you! I will be recommending this hotel to all my friends who go to Paris and I will certainly be staying here again! Thank you Hotel Europe Saint Séverin for making our stay an amazing one!

Perfect location, lovely room and view

Great staff, great location

Stayed here with my husband. Picked this hotel because of the surrounding area and proximity to metro station.
Staff are really friendly and we were able to keep our bags in a secure room as we arrived before check in. 
Room clean and pleasant with views onto the street, comfy bed and amazing shower! Not a very big room but that wasn’t a problem for us.
Hallways a little cluttered with laundry bags, could be a bit tidier.

The area is fantastic, loads of restaurants and bars and really close to the Louvre and Notre Dam. 

My only complaint is the noise. The street noise is pretty bad and very early every morning a delivery lorry going by woke us up. 
The restaurant downstairs plays loud music from midday to midnight with a very loud, continuous bass thrumming away which really got on our nerves. If you’re a light sleeper you should bring ear plugs or stay somewhere else! 

Amazing location

We stay in the hotel the second time. Service was very good. Location is wonderful in the heart of Paris. Room was of reasonable size for 3 stars hotel in the center, enough space and quite comfortable. Breakfast in french style without hot meals but it was quite enough. Dinner included in price was very good and was one of the issues why we have chosen this hotel the second time. I dislike too strong fumigator in the lobby.

Perfect! 

Excellent as Always

This was a good clean hotel, very comfortable bed and good powerful shower. The room was small but in an excellent position for exploring Paris. Although we were aware breakfast was not included we were given a discount card with our room key which indicated if we had breakfast for 2 or more days we would get it discounted from 12 euros to 9 euros per person. However when I came to settle the bill for 3 mornings' breakfasts I was surprised to be told I had to pay 12 euros as I hadn't advised reception in advance that we would have breakfast! Somewhat disappointing - either they appreciate repeat custom or they don't. Apparently there was a note in the lift but we didn't see it - perhaps it would be good to have been asked when we checked in if we required breakfast.

Clean, wonderful location in Latin Quarter allowing me to walk everywhere, the woman at the front desk was the absolute best - so helpful and offered suggestions/ride arranging.  They held my bags at the front for free with no problems so I could walk around after check out.  I had breakfast there and it was on the good side of classic/normal - with the best cheese I've had at a hotel.  I had a cute balcony overlooking the street in my single room which was lovely and a nice touch.  Thanks!
