The Nevers Hotel is located in a nice, very quiet area, the room is nice, clean, but you will have to carry your suitcases up the stairs because there is no elevator and do not wait for them to be carried for you. Besides, there is no air conditioning so the third floor is unbearable heat even with the fan.

Very clean but...

This Hotel was a mess before I got here. The civic number, to start with, is not 83 but 93. We wanted to leave the suitcases in the hall and the lady after she told us that she said we could take them to the room, but we had to pay 5 euros! Besides, she didn't give us a choice and we took them up. The rooms are a hole, it's a B&B without breakfast, if you want it you pay for it separately, and we didn't even know where they'd make it for you, since there's no breakfast room.

If I'd read the reviews first...

Room on the third floor: the 5, roses! but alas, the interior is not up to its name... we had stayed there 20 years ago (!) pleasantly... well, since then, no work seems to have been undertaken: the roses are well drained... the TV doesn't work, the hair dryer doesn't work either. no wifi included. but it's true that the staff is adorable and the ideal location! in short: too expensive for what it is!

to avoid

I booked a room for 2 people and found myself in a hole on the fourth floor with no elevator of 8 square meters. The bed was 120 cm wide and in two it was impossible to sleep. Also around there was little room to move around. The bathroom, kind of prefabricated, very small. At the reception desk they told me that the room had a terrace, it was actually a window from which to contortion, you get out on the roof. We refused to stop and we immediately changed hotel. But the manager took the same money from the credit card.

Small, dirty rooms, never again!

This hotel has the best facilities possible and the staff were wonderful. They embellished our stay. The young man and the woman were really very kind. The black housekeepers were very rude.

The staff made our stay beautiful.

I'm not going to go out and waste words about this stunt. I just got back from Paris. Everything was perfect except for the hotel that cost 250 euros a night. It was really embarrassing, dirty carpets, an unbearable stench of mold, the bathroom, everything was falling apart.

Don't go to this hotel!!!

A big disappointment, old hotel, all very used, scum, poor service. At night you can't sleep, you can hear everything from the other rooms. Twice they tried to charge me extra, at first they tried to forget the drop, and then finally even though I had paid everything from day one they wanted me to pay everything again.

Definitely not anymore.

Even to spend the night I don't advise you!!!! We arrived around 11:00 pm. The reception was open but there was no light. The receptionist was on the phone, we felt like we were bothering him..! He wasn't at all welcoming or useful.. The room I had was number 4 on the first floor.. I paid 79 euros for a miserable room!! It smells horrible, you can hardly hear anything in the bathroom seeing the low light there is (no window in the bathroom), you miss breaking your face when you come out of the shower (who doesn't feel like washing at all..) The paper room from the reception room went back to the very old room in pieces and I didn't think it was any worse because it wasn't a very nice place to stay in the room.

That's awful! Don't go!

I used to go there when I was younger, I have so many beautiful memories of those rooms, which are now what they were ten or more years ago, unstable in greed and very expensive compared to other offerings in the neighborhood. The charm can dissolve if you don't spend two euros on a refreshment, an improvement, a new idea. The breakfast is uncomfortable.

What a disappointment!

A room reserved long in advance. When I arrived there, I was assigned a room that was not planned, because the water hadn't been flowing for a minute because I already had some water to my ankles. I left by closing the door, and when I got back, the lock wasn't locked... Fortunately, I didn't have anything stolen. He was very busy, he didn't want to take a glass of water at the time. They were the same thing, they were not the same thing.
