Hôtel du Parc

I booked the room with a free extra bed option. In the morning, I dropped off my luggage at the hotel and went sightseeing before returning in the evening to check in. When I first left my luggage, the receptionist on duty kindly told me they would assign us a room that already had three beds, instead of adding an extra bed, which I appreciated.However, when I returned in the evening, the staff had changed, and the story was different. I explained what the morning staff had told me, but the evening staff said they had no knowledge of it and insisted that I would have to pay extra for an additional bed.Fortunately, I calmly explained the situation regarding the free extra bed option, and after verifying it, I stayed in a small room with two beds and an extra bed added. Although it was the room type I originally booked, it was disappointing that they initially offered an upgrade and later changed their stance, asking for an additional payment.That said, the staff were otherwise very kind, and the room was clean. Above all, the hotel's location was excellent, with easy access to restaurants and transportation nearby. If I return to Paris, I would consider staying at this hotel again.
