Loft Paris

I have been several times in Paris for Business, and it has become more expensive over the years. This time the hotels became unaffordable that I followed a Lonely Planet suggestion. I tried to stay there before, but they don't seem to take reservations one year ahead of time. Anyway, if you are on allowances, it's better to book a loft a few days before your trip, as a 50% deposit is required. Some companies wan't to know the exchange rate applied on your credit card. Keep in mind that there will be two charges, one before you arrive and the second one after you leave. Talking about exchange rates, it's not a good idea to change foreign currency at the airport. You won't need cash at all in Paris, plus it's a good way to avoid being scammed at the Eifel Tower or Sacre Coeur. I rented the Duplex, which is like renting a house in Central Paris. I slept on the upper floor, because wi-fi wasn't available downstairs. When I arrived I made a phone call in order to report it to the owner. He sent his handy man who greeted me in broken English (he didn't speak English) and let me stay at the gym they own at the entrance while he was cleaning up my loft as pevious guests were leaving. I had the gym's shower at my disposal but decided to drink coffee at the waiting room. The shower was the best part, after I figured how it worked. I bought a deodorant and left it for the next guest. It would be nice if the property provides one for customers who don't bring it due to the fact that they travel light. The kitchen had everything I needed except some scissors, which I requested during my stay, but the owner seemed to have forgotten that. I enjoyed the morning tea and the complimentary alcohol-free beer I found in the fridge. Overall, I strongly recomnend that property, and I would book it again for my next visit
