Small hotel right on the beach walk way ,comfortable rooms especially the ones with a balcony. short 15 mins walk from the lovely town of St.Malo. private off road parking in front of hotel. Good value. A small  bar is close by, would stay here again.

Arrived at Logis de Broceliande at 1300. We were welcomed by madame, but we noticed that sometimes the hotel is left unattended, since a phone number of a nearby hotel is given as contact. We had given our estimated time of arrival, and were right on time, but had we not done that maybe we would have had to try the phone. Room was changed to first floor from second floor after madame saw us struggle with steps! Very nice of her. The hotel is a distance from the Old Town, but rain held off so we stepped smartly down the prom, and enjoyed the walk. On our return, were dismayed on seeing how small the room was, the size of a Category 5 cabin on the Star Clipper, but less well arranged. The shape of the bathroom did just allow a bath, but generally the room was a tight squeeze, with restricted storage. Knights of the Round Table were represented in the room names, though think Morgan, our room, may have been a damsel. Breakfast was fine, excellent croissants. Great view from the breakfast room, over the beach. Loved the seagoing allusions, in the decor, and were fascinated by the superb model of a galley, complete with its bank of oars, and lateen rig, worthy of the National Maritime museum. Okay for one night stay. Keep luggage to minimum.

A lovely bed & breakfast with a breakfast view that just doesn't get any better!  It's a 15min stroll from the walled city, right by the beach.  There are several dining options literally next door, all more pleasant and probably better than most inside the walled city. The best part is the breakfast nook, with a beach right outside the window. Rooms were quite dated, but clean. 

My partner and I spent two nights at the Broceliande hotel some weeks ago during our three day trip to beautiful Saint Malo. We had booked through Booking, originally for just one night (100 euros for a double room without breakfast) but then booked an additional night (90 euros) for  a double room with sea view. After I made the first booking, I asked for a room with a sea view, and  the hotel replied to me that I would have a double room with a city view as mentioned on Booking during my reservation process. However, when I booked this type of room, it was not at all clear that it did not have a sea view, instead there were pictures of rooms with a view of the beach (???). Anyway, I managed to book a sea view room for my additional night, so no worries there. 
The hotel itself is conveniently situated near the Sillon beach and a 15 min walk from the Intra Muros city as well as the train station. It is a lovely, quaint building, and the rooms are themed after the King Arthur Legend.We had the Elaine room on the second floor, which was the one overlooking the beach and then we moved to the Perceval room, which was also on the second floor. I liked both rooms, they were both clean and fairly spacious, but we both agreed that we liked the Perceval room a bit more. However what really bothered me was the matress at that room, which was not comfortable at all, resulting in my finding it hard to fall asleep. Apart from that, we were satisfied with the rooms. 
I also ordered breakfast for our last morning and we had to pay 14 euros each. It is a bit expensive I would say and I would have loved to have more variety and some products of better quality. It is actually an all you can eat buffet with coffee/juice, bread, really nice jam, fruits, crepes, cereals, cheese and ham, cake e.t.c. When it comes to the dining room, it is beatiful, with tables next to windows overlooking the beach.
The staff were friendly and polite and I would say that I had an overall pleasant stay at this hotel.

Small, charming, slightly old-fashioned hotel, lovely staff, fantastic buffet breakfast (bread, croissant, galettes, local patisseries, fruit, eggs, ham, cereal, yoghurt, juice, tea, coffee...) and they made us a great pot of tea one afternoon too. The bedroom and bathroom were fairly basic but comfortable and if like me lights outside the room stop you sleeping there are roll-down metal shutters as well as thick curtains, although in fact the street lamp was a soft white light rather than the garish orange which is much more intrusive. Best thing is the position, set back from the road, with free parking at the front, and then the sea-view rooms have balconies onto the promenade so no traffic noise at all, just the waves, and a glorious view of the bay. A great place to swim and play on the beach, 10-15 minutes walk into the Intra-Muros and some good down-to-earth restaurants and shops within a 100m or so. If we go to St Malo again we will stay there again.
