La Cabane du Canada

We arrived just after midnight although we had called to say we were running late due to problems at the Euro Tunnel. It was quite tricky to spot the building and we had to phone the owner who then came to the door. The elderly lady who owns the B&B was very attentive and did her best to talk to us although she cannot speak English and our French is a little rusty. The rooms are very quaint and you feel as though you are stepping back in time. Our friends had a family room with a bathroom between the two bedrooms we had a double room with a separate bathroom outside our door, there is one shared toilet on this floor, everything was very clean. Breakfast was simple but plenty to eat and drink, the lady fussed over us all the time which was very sweet, she even stopped the traffic for us next morning so we could reverse out onto the road!
