Our arrival experience was less than perfect as we were booked for a week ahead of our actual stay! But all turned out well. While appreciating the location, the hotel is less than 'sparkling' and could be better in many minor ways; more attention to maintenance, trimming of shrubs, welcoming guests... The dining room is traditional and comfortable with trained staff. The food served is excellent, freshly prepared and good value for money
