Nice cosy place with a family owned atmosphere. Cosy modern rooms decorated with taste and friendly bar and dinning room. Located just at the edge of the forest, very green and nice walks possibilities. Terrace seats for sunny days.

A perfect retreat to visit the Vosges and Alsace from another point of view

Located far away from the city hassle up in the Vosges hills, I enjoyed my short stay as the welcome was fantastic and charming,  you fell being part of the family. Very tranquil et peaceful. Place is decorated with taste with still a feel of the Alsace province. However what prevails is the friendliness of the family owners.

We had a large room (#10) up 2 flights (no elevator) impeccably clean.  There was 1 queen for us & 1 single bed for our 5 yr old daughter.   The hostess was a lovely little French lady.  It was a Sunday evening (her resto was not open) so she gave us a suggestion to have dinner at La Chaumiere down the street (nice place, full of locals too!).  The bathroom was clean, spacious and wonderful water pressure in the shower.  The breakfast was coffee, tea, juice, crossiants, home made jams, local butter, cheeses and yogurt. fruit salad, coldcuts too.  We would definitly stay here again.

The location is perfect for hiking in the surrounding hills. We had a nice and quiet stay. The owners were very friendly. The room was nice and clean, the setup of the hotel, the room and the dining area is tasteful. We don´t watch TV, so the little TV-Set was of advantage. We had a relaxed and good breakfast.  At all the overnight stay for a weekend excursion from Stuttgart couldn´t have been better - and therefore we just booked in again !

We stopped off at Le Domaine de Pairis on our way to visit some friends in the west of France however we wished we had been able to stay much longer than the time we had available. We were late arriving, there is no reception after 10pm but we had contacted the owner and he very kindly left a key for us so we could get in on arrival. It was dark when we arrived so we didn't get to see where we were until the next morning and what a lovely surprise! The hotel is situated in the Vosges mountains that border France and Germany and it's such a beautiful area. The room was very clean and comfortable and the hotel was very quiet. We met the owner at breakfast and he told us about the hotel and the area. Breakfast was good by the way. 

So, a very short stop over but we would definitely go back again for a longer stay on our next visit to the area.

Great Hotel In Beautiful Location

Stayed 3 nights with a group. It's a pleasant enough hotel in a lovely part of France surrounded by the mountains and green valley. The hotel is nice and clean and the staff are helpful and try to please - however their English is a little limited.
There are no hot drink facilities in the room, but this is fairly normal in Europe. Don't bother with breakfast. At 10 Euros it's a rip- off, with only cereal and croissants and not much of that! We had to keep requesting replenishment of everything. It seems they're reluctant to keep the breakfast bar fully stocked.
Word of warning - they close on Mondays, so if you come back in the evening, you can get nothing - not even a drink (but they still charge full rate though offering nil facilities).
