Villa Maria

We stayed here for one night with our son. We had the two downstairs rooms, one for our son, and ours was right next to it. His had a large bathroom with a walk in shower, ours had a very large bathroom with a double bath with jacuzzi jets, and a separate walk in shower. Only downside is that the bathroom for our room didn't have a toilet, you have to go out of the room into a little corridor to go to the toilet. As the house is also used by the family, and the little corridor is only separated by a curtain from the rest of the house, this doesn't feel very private. There is also a family suite for guests upstairs. The garden is gorgeous, and there is plenty of seating for guests and the family. We didn't use the swimming pool, but it looks inviting. Breakfast was wonderful, with home made yoghurt and honey, lovely bread and jams, and muesli. We were also offered ham and cheese, but declined. Coffee was good as well. The hostess is extremely welcoming and friendly, as is her husband who we only saw briefly. We would have stayed another few nights if we had had time, but we had made other plans. Definitely a great place to stay.
