Le Moulin Bregeon

Where do I begin? Our stay at Le Moulin and visit to the Loire was the icing on our vacation in France. The accommodations - Le Moulin is an old Mill restored and converted into a bed and breakfast establishment by Jonathan Scott Robinson, Painter, and Professor in the early 2000's. The suites are all appointed with rustic French detailed décor and original charm. We stayed in the red room suite located on the third floor of the main house, and while the bathroom isn't technically in the room, you have the top level to yourself. The service - Jonathan, Bernard, and Pascal ensure that you have a fantastic experience at Le Moulin. The food was terrific, thank you, Bernard. The meals that we had were scrumptious and delightful. It was noticeable that they shop daily for the meals and if you experience dinner there, they practice serving farm to table dishes. We visited Le Moulin with a larger group. Therefore, the group leader had created a package that included most dinners, but it is my understanding that breakfast is the only meal provided as posted on their site. However, you can work with Jonathan and his team to create added experiences for you. The attention to detail at the Mill is incredible and is basically, all original French all the time, and most importantly it exudes a warm welcome that immediately put us in a relaxing mood. It is important to note that they can accommodate weddings, deliver cooking courses and arrange wine tastings for your group. Overall, the rooms, the grounds, the river, ducks, Figaro (dog), etc. all collectively provided an eloquent and beautiful visit to Le Moulin and the region. While this was my second time in France; staying at Le Moulin made it an extra unique experience because it allows you to visit and enjoy the Loire Valley as if you were a local. It felt as if we were visiting family in the French countryside.
