Logis Hôtel-Restaurant Le Moulin D'Artres

Friendly welcome by the owner who could speak pretty good English, was very enthusiastic and really looked after us during our stay. We were given a beautiful large room which he said was the honeymoon suite, spotless clean, good shower, Sensio machine for making coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The bed felt firm but was very comfortable, my husband and I both suffer bad backs but were absolutely fine in this bed. Slept with the window open as quite a warm evening which overlooked a stream running by the side of the property and the lovely sound of it which lulled us to sleep …(either that or the really good wine we drank with our evening meal)!!! The meal was a set menu which I think changed every day during the week. I assume he would have made something different if maybe you are vegetarian or allergic to certain things, maybe worth advising them on the request section when booking the room. The meal was lovely, fresh ingredients, 3 courses, felt like you had gone to a friends house for a mea and it had been prepared with care. He recommended a lovely wine and told us the price 15 euros which was a great price & a very good wine with our meal. There is a lovely garden at the back were you can relax and have drinks on a nice sunny day. They have a gorgeous, huge dog who is quite a softie. Breakfast, because of Covid, was eaten in our room. Fresh orange juice, jams, butter, yogurt etc in the little mini fridge, croissant and bread. Would imagine that the parking was ample enough for each guest turning up with a car and the hotel being full. Would definitely stay again if passing & would recomend.
