Close to Nime’s monuments and historic sites. Good location with a fabulous old staircase (was part of the original 17th century building), lovely inner courtyard, even the locks on the front door are a point of fascination. Very friendly helpful staff. Elevator available. Bar and restaurant on location, we did not try but it looked nice. We liked our room, it was an upper floor. Loved windows that opened on two walls that created a cross breeze. Wonderfully comfortable bed. Lovely big deck with table and chairs, we enjoyed sitting out in the evening and watching the hirondelles swooping wildly around above us. Very good air conditioning, we visited in mid June when there was a heat wave. The layout of our room had a very large shower, with no door on this area, and the toilet was on the other side inside a closed room. Large closet, safe, good wifi. I did read somewhere that it is ‘steps’ from the train station, I would not call it so close, it is about 1km. However we did the walk and it was an opportunity to pass some interesting sites. There is a nice square close to the hotel, Place des Escalafidous, which has nice restaurants. I would recommend this hotel.
