Five Bedrooms Seaview House, Old Town

I think this is an excellent option if you want to be on the Promenade des Anglais. It has a very chilled vibe and the people who work here are really nice and welcoming! The breakfast was good and free: a selection of bread, cheese, cereal, fruit and biscuits. I often had my breakfast on the balcony which overlooked the sea. I stayed in the female dorm in July. I read some reviews saying that its too hot as it is on the lower floor but I would disagree. Whilst there is no air con, there is a fan and you can leave the window open. There were no mosquitos, a bit noisy from the traffic but fine if you bring ear plugs. The wifi isn't good in the room but it works fine on the balcony and dining area. The bathroom was cleaned daily and whilst it is shared I didn't have to wait as I woke up early. There is another toilet and bathroom upstairs. I came solo and luckily met some girls in the dining area and my room to go out with for dinner. It doesn't really have a hostel vibe with activities so there is also a chance that you won't meet people to go out with. I didn't want to party and wanted a mix between meeting people and some time alone so it was perfect for me. I took the bus 98 to get here but couldn't work out how to get back to the airport. Would be good to provide this info as it isn't the same bus/bus stop. If you are looking to relax and be near the beach this is a really great option. If you want to party and/or meet loads of people maybe look elsewhere.
