We returned hoping that it would be as good as last year.  Things can change, but although there were a few minor differences, it still is a good place to stay. Clean comfortable bedroom, and very welcoming hosts.  
For a family to run a business is hard work, but this one does it with a smile on their face.

Enjoyed our stay as much as a year ago.

Lavergne is a pretty little village a bit off the beaten track, but it is well worth the effort to get there.  The hotel bedrooms are on the first floor of a converted barn and are full of character.  Items from the past alongside art that has been created by the hostess.
The rooms are very comfortable, with everything you could want. A good sleep on large bed, a good shower, TV, WiFi and even fly screens to keep unwanted visitors out.
The family that run the business are extremely welcoming, and really do make you feel that it is a pleasure to have you with them.
A very good experience at a price that is no more than your average chain hotel or motel.

Only three bedrooms so don't leave it to the last minute to book.

We took four of our friends to lunch at La Limargue. It was a cold day but the atmosphere inside the restaurant was warm and inviting. We were treated to a five course lunch plus cheese and coffee. The portions were generous and the food delicious. The service was prompt and we all enjoyed a convivial lunch.

Dined here today and it was a great culinary experience. Nicole the owner was serving and was the kindest and most welcoming hostess. The five course menu was great and what a great price. The restaurant is only open at lunchtimes, but you have to book, we tried for a place earlier in the week but no spaces. The food was well cooked, the starter of soup (ginger, carrot,beetroot et al) served in a large bowl, enough for two bowls each, which was just as well as it tasted exquisite. The charcuterie that followed just enough. The main course of pork ribs in a sauce and fries delicious (I'm generally not a great lover of ribs but these were so well cooked that they fell off the bone). Great cheeses included Rocamodour the local goats cheese, Brie and a blue cheese, excellent and the profiteroles finished it off nicely with red wine. All in all a great experience of dining and I will absolutely return as soon as possible.

Wonderful food, kind welcoming hostess

This is my favourite local restaurant and I go there several times a month, sometimes alone, sometimes with friends and once I even sent a group from the US there for their pre-wedding dinner. The five course set menu is seasonal, incorporates fresh local produce, changes all the time and includes coffee and wine. Highly recommend.
