We stayed in the extremely large first floor apartment (there are 2 more above) Be prepared for some serious relaxing time and gorgeous views. We could saw storks circling above the village heading for their nests …Everything is here to relax on the balcony or terrace. And for a rainy day, tv, games, table soccer. If you’re sore from your long walks there is a nautical centre with spa 10’ away. Our flat had an oversized lounge-room big enough to invite friends after you cooked up a storm in the spacious, well equipped kitchen. You’re also right at the beginning of best of Alsace’s walking /cycling tracks, and gorgeous mountains roads. If you have a car, the opportunity is perfect for touring this wine-rich country and stunning villages, this really is the place to enjoy and let yourself go in one of France’s most authentic regions. Munster has some excellent eateries, enough speciality shops, local fresh produce market Saturday and Tuesday mornings. And 3 excellent supermarkets 1km away from the house. Munster is near the iconic town of Colmar and within reach of the European city of Strasbourg. La Maison Bellevue is owner-managed, and it is nice to know that Gabrielle and Yoli are on deck, and only too happy to welcome your pets. But if like us you arrive by train, the station is only 1km away. To visit the wine route, you can book a minibus service. Maison Bellevue is a fantastic destination.
