The cottage Hameau des vignes  is just a few minutes from the city of Montrichard where you can have a great lunch or dinner at La Villa restaurant by the promenade. The owner of the cottage is a wonderfull french woman. The rooms are charming and very cosy. There is a parking space for three cars and a jaquzee ;) ir is a lovely place to stay for a weekend or more! Wifi avaliable:)

We stayed here for three nights and cant describe how perfect and idyllic this B&B is. We checked in at 6pm and were welcomed by the owner. We were instantly made to feel at home, we were shown to our room which was huge, clean, modern and tastefully decorated like the whole of the house. We were given the Wifi code and I can say this worked fine throughout our stay. We were asked to pay for our stay upon check in so bare this in mind when you arrive. The Breakfast was prepared for us in the morning and this was fresh and tasty every morning. It is a very relaxed stay, quiet at times so don't expect to see many other people during your stay. There isn't much to do in the close surrounding area and by this I mean there isn't much to do in walking distance, we felt this B&B was ideally located to view the various Chateau's in the area, as we had a rental car this made everything so much easier. A fantastic stay which made our honeymoon !! Thank you x

Nice rooms and very clean. Owner is very friendly. The breakfast is nice. Highly recommended this chambre d'hotes! The chambre d'hotes is owned by a winery. Within walking distance, it is possible to buy delicious wines.

We are from Australia. This was our first night out of Paris. We stayed here with our family of 6. What a great place to stay. Impeccably presented, generous rooms and a lovely breakfast. Had dinner down the road at Le Bosquet Grill. I fell in love with France.

Excellent relaxing atmosphere of a countryside villa

Lovely chambre d'hotes and very friendly owner

Beautifully restored residence

Though booking long months in advance, the owner and manager of this B&B had double booked our reservation. She lied when I called her the morning of our arrival to check the reservation and even confirmed it. By doing so, she deliberately let us ride 50 km by bike and only informed us upon arrival in the evening that no room was left for us. By chance our 2 families with 4 children under 10 y.o could eventually be relocated 7 km further in another place of very average standard I will not describe here. No excuse was even presented. Customer service at its lowest possible level. Avoid this place if you can.
