Les Parrans

I stayed here for 2 nights in May 2016 to join friends here who were staying the whole week. I was in Paris for the week but flew down to join them cycling Mont Ventoux. I had never stayed in a B&B and was disappointed to hear we weren't in a hotel but, as I was jumping on someone else's holiday booking for just a short period, I just went with it. How wrong can someone be about a B&B?! Unbelievable hospilitality and welcome you don't find in a hotel. Ever. Due to delays with our flight and hire car in Marseille we didn't arrive until nearly midnight. Cooking us dinner and making us as relaxed as possible truly felt no trouble for them and was so needed after our travelling ordeal on the roughest, bumpiest flight ever through a storm! We were up early for the ride and the breakfast was amazing. He truly is a great chef. After the ride and a few beers in town, we returned for showers and dinner which again was fantastic. After a few beers at dinner it was time to retire to the poolside and to have a few more with a cigar. The owners let you get on with it and are not under your feet in any way. They live in the main house where the reception and dining room and all guests are spread around the site in en suite outhouses. The pool is nice and there is a natural stream running through the estate which creates a constant, soothing running water noise. The local area is beautiful. A wonderful short stay with a friendly couple and their dog!
