La Maison du Carroir

This is a charming and welcoming accommodation in the beautiful city of Blois. The room we booked (Augustine) was spacious and comfortable with a large bath that included a soaking tub (a welcome feature since we arrivied on bikes!) Our host, madame Galland, was very friendly and helpful. A delicious breakfast was included and served in a particularly lovely room looking over the garden. The location is very convenient to all of the interesting sites in Blois as well as the shopping and restaurants area. The train station is a walk of only about 10 minutes and at the station one can also catch a bus or shuttle out to Chambourd - certainly a castle worth visiting.
