Hotel Moderne

Situated in one of the most pleasant and sweet villages arround Paris, this hotel was what i really wanted. 10 min train or metro to paris to Gare De Lyon or Chatelet les Halles. After a simple online reservation (no credit card needed), they have double rooms with private wc, or also same rooms with shared wc. Prices are excellent compared to hotels in the city!!(very expensive)!! The hotel was recently renewed, wc are very clean also the rooms and the breakfast room! The walls were freshly painted as the floor and stairs completly renewed. From outside we couldn't herar a thing during the night, only some noise from other room doors! There was a large bed in our room and hot water all the time. The breakfast in the morning was Great, they have fresh bread and Croissants, also the usual as cereals, yoghurt, jam, toasts, juice, milk and of course, cofee machine with all kind of cofee, from expresso to capuccino...etc..etc!!everything buffet style! The hotel closes at 10:00 pm but you keep the key (room and front door) all the time from check-in to check-out. wich is awesome..you can come in and out anytime. There was only one person at the reception, spoke in english and was very friendly. It was simple and nice to stay there. Maisons-Alfort is a small town with metro and train station direct to Central Paris and main Stations (gare de lyon and chatelet).
