Le Carré Merciere

Have read the reviews of others ere and just can't comprehend - I stayed here this past week for two nights and had a blast - the apartment is perfectly located to explore all Lyon has to offer - shopping, food / nightlife, and tourism. As others have pointed out - the apartments are located literally right in the middle of it all - if you are wanting / expecting a "quiet" apartment then you should be looking elsewhere. I was amazed at how well the double paned windows cut down on the noise - but it's not silent - but it shouldn't be lol! Anastasia was great - contacted me in advance, met me at apartment, was always available for anything - and the apartment was amazing. Yes - it was a little warm - but they can't install AC as the building is literally a UNESCO world heritage site - so expect it to be a bit warm - but it's not unbearable - just open a window and leave blinds closed - cool air gets in and noise isn't bad at all! Bottom line is if you want to experience Lyon like a local - have a blast - and have luxurious surroundings for a great price - this is your place!
