What an extraordinary property. This beautiful and ancient stone house in the mountains is brimming with character. The rooms are beautiful and quirky in the very best of ways.The views are dramatic and exquisite. The owners are lovely people and made us very welcome. Breakfast was a feast of lovely pastries, bread, preserves and muesli type cereals. I cannot recommend this place enough and I'm sure that we will come back here again.

So pleased we found this hotel when looking for somewhere nice to book that would also be within striking distance of Bastia airport, for our final night on the island at the end of a 2 week driving tour. 
We loved its remote location amongst the mountains (although it's actually just 40mins drive from Bastia airport so worked well from that point of view too).  We also loved the stylishly quirky but functional decor and big size of our Sultana suite, plus the warm friendly welcome from our hosts and their lovely dog Sheeba.  
In our 1st floor room there was a kettle and lounge area with sofa, but there is also a shared lounge on the ground floor with large communal refrigerator and microwave for guests to use (they kindly provided plates and cutlery for us on request).  The local restaurant apparently only opens July/August, so we brought some food with us, as there are no other restaurants in close proximity. 
They have a lovely garden area with nice garden furniture which guests are welcome to relax in (and solar lights too, although too early in the eve when we were there for them to come on).  It's therefore worth picking up a bottle of wine to bring with you, to enjoy out there as we did, as we enjoyed the stunning views across to the mountains and down the valley as the sun went down.  The village is a very peaceful hamlet with just a church and the (closed) restaurant.
The continental style breakfast was great too - a lovely spread of pastries, bread, homemade biscuits and jams and local honey, plus homemade yoghurt.  I would just suggest that a glass of orange or other juice would have been nice alongside the hot drinks.  You sit with other guests at a big farmhouse style table alongside the kitchen.  We enjoyed talking to the other guests next to us, as well as the owners.  
There is normally WiFi available but a recent storm had knocked this out and they had been waiting a few days for it to be fixed - the downside of the remote location!
They don't seem to get many visitors from the UK (ditto the rest of Corsica in fact) although they are generally full with other European guests, so we felt as if we had found a hidden gem.  If you're thinking of staying (we would definitely recommend!) then please contact the owners direct via their website, as Booking.com is problematic for them and apparently slow to pass on payments.

Beautiful property situated high up in the mountains with breathtaking views from the garden terrace where you can sit down and watch the sun go down behind the mountains whilst enjoying some wine and cheese. Very quiet place, perfect for couples who want to relax. Room was comfortable, spacious, and clean, with integrated bathroom with toilet and a shower. The place is secluded with a nearest shop about 7km away, there’s a local restaurant 1 min walk from the property, the food was good, make sure to have cash as no cards are accepted.The hosts were AMAZING! Both Christoph and Frederic made us very welcome and comfortable. They made our stay special! We felt as though we were visiting our family :) There is on site parking available for guests. Frederic made fresh continental breakfast every morning which was delicious! There’s a train station at the bottom of the mountain with trains connecting to both Bastia, Ajaccio and local areas. Christoph saved us €135 in car cleaning fine! He told us that it is our responsibility to clean it inside - we were never told that by the rental company and it was in the contract written in French. Huge thank you Christoph! In general our stay was fantastic! We loved every minute of our visit to this beautiful 15th century hotel! We would strongly recommend it!

This was my favorite BNB I’ve stayed at, ever!  Unique historic building in a beautiful setting, the owners have created a comfortable and interesting accommodation. They were very helpful with  recommended sites and areas to see. Very friendly and fun! Christoph, Frédérique,, and Shiva are great!  If I am ever fortunate enough to be able to go back to Corsica, I would stay with them again!

We loved staying in this wonderful place, great hosts and conversation, stunning views and sunsets. Wish we had stayed longer!

Wonderful bed and breakfast. The hosts were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The breakfasts were excellent and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The hotel was a convenient place to stay for hiking near Corte and Asco. There are not many restaurants nearby, so you may need to bring food (they have a large refrigerator for guests to use). There is a clean spring near the hotel were you can fill water bottles.

Frédérique and Christophe give you a warm welcome and seem to enjoy to host this nice small place in the Corsican hills. Rich breakfast with home made pastries, allowing you (or forcing you ;-)) to have a chat with the hosts and the other guests about the what-to-do's in the area.The room was exceptionally nice and spacious, and stayed cool during heat-wave summer nights. And then they are the living room and the jacuzzi!

Staying a night with heavy rain and the village and roads became flooded. Owners were superb, funny and helpful. They really took care of us, 10 strangers. Offered us to continue to use the rooms and made a very nice lunch.  The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Fantastic view from the village.  Would highly recommend to anyone.
