This is an excellent refurbished hotel in a quiet village.  The rooms are good - mine was large and airy.  Clean, good shower facilities.  The reception was welcoming and friendly.  Food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the selection of beers.  Service was superb.  Highly recommended.

We decided to stop here for the night on our way to Brussels avoiding the busier routes. The small town is atttractive and the hotel is set in an imposing centre of fine buildings.
The hotel has been in the same family for five generations and the family has its own farm where the beef and lamb are raised for the restaurant. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon obviously too late to expect lunch, but all the same we were able to tuck into a cheese salad washed down with the local cider to tide us over to dinner. Meals are served either on a Terrace overlooking the square, or in an atttractive dining room. Tables are set well apart and have comfortable chairs. We enjoyed a lovely meal on Sunday evening choosing the €27 menu. The food was served attractively, and was superb. Our room (9) was on the first floor and down a few steps. It was spacious with a sofa/daybed three small armchairs and a balcony overlooking a courtyard. The en suite bathroom was spacious. Breakfast is served in a separate room and for €10 there was a selection including boiled eggs ham cheese yoghurt fresh fruit apple and orange juice bread croissant etc. The hotel has been brought up to modern standards, the staff are friendly polite and helpful. We found it a delightful place to stay and intend to return, perhaps to explore the area. There is plentiful parking in the square.

The rooms in hotel have all been recently refurbished to the highest standards by the owner.

Off the beaten track a little , but worth the detour

Stayed here for 1 night on a trip round various areas of France.  Realised on arrival that we had stayed there some 8 years earlier and were not disappointed to be back.  One couple stayed in an older room (that they had had on the previous stay!) and the other in a renovated room.  Both rooms very clean and functional with the renovated room being nicely done with lots of exposed wood.  Great evening meal and breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff.

Very good hotel aside the great roads, perfect for trekking and relaxing. Excellent quality-price ratio. Friendly and professional staff. Breakfast buffet has a lot of local organic products, excellent for health.

Very good hotel aside the great roads, perfect for trekking and relaxing

Wonderful refurbished rooms in quiet village

We stayed here for two nights with a family of two adults and two children. The room was good because the kids had their own little space upstairs. The room was neat and so was the bathroom although it is very old and in need of refurbishment.
It turns out that the room (room 9) is right above the restaurant and they made noise until 11 pm at night. The waiters stand outside and talk and move around dishes and slam doors. They start again at 7am in the morning when they get deliveries etc. You hear everything and it is a rude awakening given we were on holiday and wanted to sleep in.
The staff speak only French. It was a challenge. They were friendly though and mostly we just ended up smiling and not understanding each other.
You can park right in front of the hotel which is handy.
Breakfast is not included in the rate and we had it one morning but decided to skip it the next.
